Yearbook underclassmen pictures will be made tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday on the commons beginning at 7:45 a.m. and continuing through 1 p.m. It is the student’s responsibility to get his or her picture taken either before school, during lunch or during the passing period, if doing so will not make them late for class. The yearbook staff is not responsible for students who do not, for whatever reason, have their pictures taken.
Help save a child’s life by donating a dollar to Saint Jude’s Hospital beginning today and ending on Friday. The second period class that raises the most money for the cure will receive a free lunch from Chili’s. What could be better?
UIL math participants will meet in Mr. Hargue’s room 229 every Monday at 8 a.m.

UIL journalism meets every Wednesday from 8 to 8:25 a.m. in room 106.
FCA meets next Monday at 7 p.m. at the Oasis. A Bible study on the Parables of Jesus will begin at the meeting. Everyone is invited to attend. The meeting will end around 8 p.m.
On Saturday, Sept. 29 from 8 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., the Counseling center will host a SAT preparation seminar presented by TEST PREP Seminars, Inc. The cost is $85 for the one day seminar. Children of school district employees receive a $20 discount. If you didn’t receive a letter from the counseling center and want to attend stop by the counseling center for further information. The seminar will be held in the PAC.
See You at the Pole will be next Wednesday at the Flag Pole starting at 7 a.m. Please join us at the flag pole as we pray for our school and country. There will be a celebration that night from 6-9 on the commons sponsored by FCA and local churches that will include food and games. Please join us that evening as we celebrate what God has done that morning.

The Lady Jackets volleyball teams play Stephenville here tomorrow. JV and freshmen A begin at 5:30 with freshmen B and varsity beginning at 6:30 p.m.
The JV and freshmen football teams play Everman on Thursday. The JV plays at Everman at 6 p.m. Freshmen play here with the Gold team playing at 5 p.m. and the Black team at 6:30 p.m.
The Lady Jacket cross-country teams travel to Lubbock to run in the Keller Classic on Saturday.
District play for the Varsity football team begins Friday as they take on the Evermen Bulldogs at the Rock. Game time is 7:30 p.m. at the Rock. Come out and support the Jackets.
