CHS COUNSELING CENTER

TXU Energy Solar Academy is partnering with National Energy Education Development Project (NEED) to implement their nationally recognized solar energy education program into Texas schools. This program brings solar technology and energy lessons into the classroom providing students and teachers with an interactive learning experience.

Cleburne High School has received a free 1-kW solar array that is web-based. Students and teachers can track how much energy is being generated and incorporate the real-time data into their lesson plans. The TXU Energy Solar Academy is a fun approach to learning about renewable energy and how it impacts our environment.
